Last week Time Magazine came out with their Person of 2011 and it was the "Protester." While I shared a few things about this yesterday, today I want to know .....
Who is your Person of the Year?
Who is the person who had a huge impact on you in 2011? Was it a Pastor, an author, a teacher, a friend or family member?
For me it was older brother Dave. He has been there for me through some very difficult times, sharing his wisdom and more importantly his life. I was honored to spend 19 days on a Harley Road trip with him and it literally changed me. We shared miles, meals, money (almost all from him), motorcycles, and memories that will last a lifetime.
That is mine. Your Turn.
My sister Missy, we share so many commonalities not to mention she knows every part of my soul, she is one who can read me like an open book, as I do with her as well. Even though younger (just a little younger) she's very wise beyond her years. There is nothing I cant share or talk to her about, and even if Im in the wrong she will let me have my moment, love me without judging, then she will help me to see the correct way of solving something. I think everyone needs a person like this in their life. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome Mandy. I totally agree!
ReplyDeleteMy person of the year is someone who is kind, loving, fair, honest and above all else accepts people just as they are. She welcomes everyone into her life and doesn't just give that person a part of her she gives them her all. She may not have all the right things to say but she will cry with you when you are hurting, she will give you a hug when you feel lonely and she will laugh with you in the good times. She is the greatest mother I have ever known because she accepts you as you are faults and all... Gina Jasper is my person of the year.
